Yesterday night I couldn't sleep well, and when I finally got myself to sleep, I awoke 3 hours later with one of those nightmares that have been attacking me lately, but this one was different, it was so intense, so sad.
Anyway, I got up at 5 AM with a chest pain, that I can only put down to the sorrow I felt from that vision, it's creepy when God decides to show you something, I've become accustomed to it, but the fear that struck me at what I saw was beyond me, I had a horrible headache, backpains and wanted to vomit.
So, I decided I needed some music to calm me down, none but Tchaikovsky can describe sorrow, the guy's whole life was about failure, lack of recognition, seeing his life work being thrown down the drain, he committed suicide at the end.
I decided to look up one of his serenades, it's called "None but the lonely heart", it was originally written for strings, then in the 1930's, someone decided to put words to it in English, I listened to the russian version, only the composer's language can match his music, I already knew the words, but this particular performance got me to tears.
I'm including 3 links to it, the first is the Russian version, the second, the English version, and the third for Violin and Orchestra, even if you don't like the genre, just give it a try, I believe the music speaks directly into you.

I know the feeling music does the same for me I am so glad for its existence as without life would have been simply unbearable.. Hope the Nightmares would cease to visit you..
Eventually they will my friend:)
Great song...
Nightmares feed the mind's creativity... welcome them
At last, someone else who listens with the heart.
I know what you mean about nightmares, unfortunately, creativity is usually fed by all the wrong factors, so it's not always welcome.
