God bless Cairo traffic

I spent a lovely thursday night driving, was supposed to have a date, but there you have it, at 5:00 pm I left the office, to drive till 6:30 to pick up my date for the night.

Drove another 1 hour to get to where we're supposed to go, then one hour later it's time for her to go home and another 2 hour drive to my place.

Lovely, considering - for those who know Cairo - that my office is located in down-town, I drove to Manial, usually a 10 minute drive, then to Haram, usually another 30 minute drive and back to Mohandesseen (where I live), which is usually another 30 minutes (given normal congested traffic).

My question is, where are all these ppl going, for sure they're not just driving around, or have we reached a state of civil unawareness that ppl are just driving around in circles.

This is too much!!!!
